About the Checklist

After surveying over 100,000 hectares of land and processing over 10 million+ drone images over the last 5 years of operations, we faced some common problems during the execution of various drone surveys 

• Poor image quality: blur, over exposed and/or under exposed images
• Duplicate dataset acquired for the same area during DA of a large worksite
• Identifying if temporary GCP is in place intact  as these can get tampered
• If all parts of the AoI is covered in case of larger projects
• Ensuring DGPS equipment has taken readings of all GCPs for sufficient time for accurate data collection
• Checking the accuracy of DGPS data through the baseline report.

After our extensive research and experience of conducting surveys for several years, we have come up with this checklist to ensure the consistency of our surveys.

This checklist can help any project manager keep track of consistency of data quality collected from the field.
